Operators can switch lighting scenes instantly between matches, concerts, or training sessions with a single command.

For Indoor Sports Halls

For indoor sports halls, our systems offer zone-based control to support multiple sports and flexible use of space. Players benefit from flicker-free illumination ideal for fast-paced play, while real-time energy dashboards allow facility managers to monitor performance and efficiency at a glance.

For outdoor venues, we provide wireless smart control solutions with full remote access. Clubs, schools, and councils can manage their lighting effortlessly through automated schedules. They can also make instant adjustments via an intuitive mobile or desktop interface without any specific technical skill.

  • Our Installation Process

How Do We Install a Smart Lighting Control System

Consultation & Audit

The first step is understanding your venue. Our team assesses your lighting setup, analyzes floodlight use, and identifies energy waste to plan smarter, more efficient lighting solutions.

Tailored Design

Our engineers design bespoke control systems that optimise energy use, simplify operation, and meet all UK and EU sports lighting standards.

Installation & Integration

Once the design is ready, we install your new system. It connects smoothly with existing LED floodlights or new ones if you are upgrading.

Training & Handover

After installation, we train your team. They learn how to adjust lighting scenes, track energy use, and manage settings for each event.

Ongoing Support

Our work doesn’t end after installation. We offer continued support and upgrades to keep your system performing its best year after year.

  • Why Choose Us

Why Choose VELO over Traditional Lighting

Traditional floodlights are expensive to run and offer minimal control. That’s why modern sports venues are turning to smart lighting control systems for greater flexibility, precision, and efficiency.

Here’s why VELO is a trusted choice across the UK:

  • Maximum Flexibility – You can tailor lighting levels for training, matches, or community events. It even provides selective illumination, which can help you brighten only the areas in use while keeping the rest dimmed or off.
  • Low Running Costs – Older floodlights consume excessive energy and often create uneven brightness. VELO’s adaptive dimming and intelligent scheduling ensure the right amount of light exactly when it’s needed. It reduces energy bills significantly.
  • Save 60% more energy – Our innovative controls detect occupancy and adjust brightness automatically. Built-in sensors and timers ensure that no energy is wasted when pitches are empty or only partly used.
  • Eliminate Errors with Smart Control – Manual switches can cause errors. With our smart control system, you can control every zone from a simple dashboard, whether you are on-site or managing remotely.
  • Seamless Integration – Our team ensures that your new system works perfectly with existing LED floodlights. It can also be integrated as part of a brand-new installation to make the upgrade process completely seamless.
  • 10-Year Warranty – Every system we install is backed by a full decade of performance assurance. We also provide dedicated technical support, so that your investment continues to deliver long-term value.
  • Compliant with UK and EU Standards – Every sport lighting control system we design is compliant with UK and EU sports lighting standards for safety and reliability.
